Sharon Philip
REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER, MSW
Sharon approaches therapy with the belief that healing is less about fixing what is broken and more about rediscovering what has always been whole. She sees each person as carrying an inner wisdom that knows the way toward peace, belonging, and self-acceptance. Guided by curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for the human spirit, Sharon offers a space where individuals can slow down and listen to what their lives are asking of them, nurturing the conditions that allow clarity and trust in oneself to emerge. She views therapy as a shared journey; one where the goal is not just to reduce suffering, but to help you fall in love with life again, in ways both big and small.
She supports individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, parenting issues, relationship conflict, cultural identity challenges, race-based traumatic stress, intergenerational trauma, substance use, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs).
Drawing from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and somatic interventions, Sharon tailors her work to each individual’s unique path toward healing and growth.
