Kyle strives to create a warm, collaborative, and compassionate space where clients may feel safe to explore both their strengths and struggles. Grounded in a humanistic approach, he views clients as the experts in their own lives and believes in their inherent capacity for healing and growth. He views therapy as a process of mutual discovery, helping clients deepen their connection with themselves, others, and the world around them.

Kyle has experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal difficulties, and self-esteem challenges. Drawing on his research experience, he brings a particular interest in supporting the well-being of parents caring for children with medical challenges. He also brings an interest in supporting male clients, collaboratively working to deepen their understanding of themselves, their relationships, and their emotional experiences.

Kyle works from an integrative, client-centred framework that is tailored to the unique needs and goals of the individual. He is oriented towards an interpersonal approach, drawing on the therapeutic relationship to foster insight, growth, and meaningful change. His work is informed by Relational and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Compassion-Focused approaches.
