Kirsty (she/her/hers) practices using a holistic, flexible, and down-to-earth approach. She is passionate about meeting clients where they are with empathy and humanity and tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs and ways of being. Kirsty recognizes the impacts of sociostructural factors on health and seeks to empower clients to foster positive change using the resources and strengths they possess as experts of their own lives and experiences.
Kirsty has supported adults to navigate a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, stress, low self-esteem/self-worth, personal growth, gender and sexual identity exploration and more. She has many years of experience working with survivors of trauma and is skilled in supporting individuals who wish to enhance their assertiveness and build effective boundaries.
Kirsty draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including trauma-informed, person-centred, cognitive-behavioural, feminist, and compassion and mindfulness-based therapies. She believes in every person’s innate ability to grow and heal.
